Kwikstage Transom Painted / Galvanized

Description

Transoms are the transverse horizontal load-bearing members of the scaffold. Made from two lengths of 50mm X 50mm angle iron welded back to back forming an inverted “T” section with banana transom ends assemble at each end.

Automatic basing out/transverse spacing is afforded by transoms, which come in four basic lengths of 2.4M, 1.8M, 1.2M and 0.7M which provide 10, 7, 5 and 3 board platforms respectively. A 1.2M return transom is available for flush deck right-angle corners where appropriate.

Transoms have been tested at central point loads as per requirements of Australian Standards. The inverted “T” transom provides a captive, flush deck.
